Stay Fresh Artist Series: 013 The Secret Santa Show

Grab your Hot Cocoa, a glass of Wassail, Eggnog, and Hot Toddys we’re throwing a swingin’ holiday party!

Get ready for one of our favorite shows in the gallery yet, it’s the Stay Fresh Secret Santa Show! We wanted to come up with a way to celebrate artists in Syracuse all while helping a good cause. We’ve teamed up with TAPS the Arts Syracuse! To get into the party you must bring an art or music supply donation*. Also, a percentage of the proceeds from art sales will go also go to TAPS.

Here’s how it works:
• 21 artists gathered one night in the fall and threw all of their names into a hat
• Each artist then picked a name and shared it with no one.
• Each artist is tasked with creating a portrait of their chosen artist in their own style.
• No one knows who got who until the night of the show.

*Cost: Arts or Music Supply Donation – Paints, Brushes, Pencils, Crayons, Markers, Reeds, Drumsticks, used instruments or music stands, etc. 
Beverages: This event is sponsored by Sky Top Coffee! So you know java buzz will be flowing! Beer, Wine, and other spirits are available for donation.
Covid Protocol? If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask than you can, it is not mandatory for this show.
What if I miss the opening? this show is one night only, and then the gallery is closed until Feb of 2023.
