The Stay Fresh Chalk Jam!

It’s the second annual Stay Fresh Chalk Jam!
This year’s event will be taking place within the 200 block of Montgomery Street, (diagonal from City Hall) on July 29th coinciding with the annual downtown Syracuse Arts and Crafts Festival, the day will be a block.
Pre-registered artists may check-in at the Stay Fresh Booth! Upon check-in, each artist will get a swag bag full of goodies, and a ticket redeemable for a free donut from Glazed & Confused who will be on-site in their Donut Truck! A Stay Fresh crew member will bring you to your location to start your art. Each artist will have a numbered section of the sidewalk on Montgomery Street. While we will have some chalk on hand for artists we encourage you to bring your own.
Stay Fresh suggests Crayola Sidewalk Chalk. It works really great on this particular texture of cement.
The competitions are open to all skill and age levels.
We’ll have really awesome prizes to give away to winners! Viewers will be allowed to vote on their favorite piece and an additional prize will be awarded to the artist who wins People’s Choice.
If we have to cancel the event, all entrants will be notified by email, and on our Instagram page.

$12 for youth (12 and younger) & teens (ages 13-17)*
$20 for adults (18 and older)*
* = add $10 for registration on the day of the event; registration will be open all day July 29, or until there is no more available space.
