For Day 9 of 31 Days of Halloween, Maddy Masello steps into the crooked shoes of The Crooked Man. An old English rhyme with a seriously nasty bedtime upgrade.

There’s something about a body moving in ways it shouldn’t. A head tilted just a little too far. Limbs that don’t quite cooperate. You want to look away, but you also want to know where the hell it’s going.

Maddy brought that wonderfully wrong energy to this shoot, giving us a storybook nightmare we’d rather admire from a safe distance.
